The  reasons why God is not drawing near to us.

1.       Sin: Because of the sin within us, He cannot draw near to us . Therefore we have to cleanse our lives from all sins and purify our hears ( James ch 4: 8) so that He can come to us.

2.       Not Submitting ourselves to God: If we don’t submit ourselves to God , He can never come close to us. So in the days to come lets submit ourselves to God (James ch 4:7) and He will draw near to us.

3.       If we are not Humble: God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble. ( James ch 4: 6). If we want God to draw near to us, we have to humble ourselves before Him and He will lift us up. ( James ch 4:10)

4.       If we don’t Resist the devil:  Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James ch 4:7) and then God can draw near to us.
