Message for the Week

Living dog is better than a dead lion

Reading Portion: Ecclesiastes 9:4

  • A dog always wants to be with its master: God has redeemed us from sin and He wants us to be with Him always. Remember that without Him nothing is possible. Cleave unto the LORD your God (Joshua 23:8).
  • A dog always returns back to its master: Many things of the world can take us away from our Master. But be careful to always come back to the Lord.
  • A dog fulfills the desire of its master: We too in our lives should always try to fulfill the desires of our Master.
  • A dog honours its master: We too should honour our Lord, master and we can do this by honouring others.
  • A dog watches over its master: We should be watchful over the things happening in this world.
  • A dog does not cross over the limits of its master: In our life too, we should make this a practice . Always stay within the limits defined by God. For eg . W can take the life of Joseph who stood within the boundary allotted to him.
  • A dog loves its master: We should always love our master in return for  His great  love which is more than our tongue can tell.We can love God by loving others. He who loveth God love his brother also(1 John 4:20,21).
  • A dog is grateful to its master: We should be always thankful to our  God for the blessings He has showered upon us.
A  dog  turns to his own vomit again (2 Peter 2:22) : Be aware  that we do not turn back to our old sinful ways.
