1.
We have put on Christ (Gal 3:27)
The
Lord has given us the glory which God the father gave to Him (John ch
17:22). Since we have put on Christ we should show out this glory to the
world.
There
are two things we should do in order to put on Christ which is mentioned
in Romans ch 6:6:
1.
Do not be slaves to sin
2.
Crucify the old man
2.
We have put on the new man (Col 3:10)
As Psalms 40: 3 says, we have been given a new song in our mouth. Whatever proceeds from our mouth so glorify our Lord, We have to develop the new man and magnify the new man. The things that we should remove in order to put on the new man is- fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness (Col 3:5)
3.
Put on the whole armour of God.(Eph 6:11)
We should always put on the whole armour of God which is mentioned in Eph ch 6:14 on wards.
