Reading Portion: 1 Thessalonians ch 5:1
to 11

| Our
Lord Jesus Christ promised that He will come back soon. We should all
look forward to the second coming of our Lord and be able to say.. "come,
Lord Jesus. "as in Rev ch 22:20.
|
| Five
things how we should be before He comes back:
|
|
1. I Cor ch 11:26 : Not only
should we remember our Lord but also proclaim His death to others just as Paul
did (I Cor ch 1: 18,23,24).
|
|
2. I Cor ch 4:5 : Do not judge others.Leave the judgement to our Lord. For
God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it
be good, or whether it be evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:14)
|
| 3. James ch 5: 7- 9 : Be patient till He
comes.
|
| 4. Luke ch 19:13: Use
our talents for His glory. The glorious gospel is entrusted to us (I
Timothy ch 1:11). Share it with others.
|
| 5. Rev ch 2:25:
Till He comes back,hold fast what He has given us -faith, hope, etc. Hold
fast that which is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
